When it comes to weddings in Menorca, one name stands out: Anna Britton. As the driving force behind Menorca Weddings, Anna has built a reputation for creating “quietly luxurious” destination weddings that are both unique and unforgettable. Her company offers personalised planning and design services exclusively for the island, working with trusted local suppliers to ensure every event is magical.
Anna’s journey into wedding planning began in 2012 when she moved to Menorca from the UK and started renovating houses and working in interior design. Her passion for creating beautiful spaces led her to organise a wedding for one of her clients, and the rest is history.

Today, Anna’s expertise and dedication have earned her international recognition.he was nominated as a finalist in the International Wedding Planner category by the prestigious London-based Weddings and Honeymoons magazine and has been featured in Condé Nast Traveller magazine.
Menorca has become one of the most sought-after destinations for couples seeking a romantic and rustic wedding experience. Anna explains that the island’s wild rustic charm, combined with understated luxury, makes it the perfect location for couples wanting a low-key celebration with plenty of time to spend with family and friends.
Weddings in Menorca also have a low carbon footprint, as guests tend to stay in one area and move around as a group, bringing good revenue to local companies. Anna’s business has grown rapidly over the past decade, thanks to her collaboration with a network of committed and flexible local suppliers. These suppliers are the backbone of Menorca Weddings, and their experience and willingness to collaborate have been key to the company’s success. Despite the increasing exclusivity and expense of properties, young and enthusiastic local caterers and other suppliers have kept their prices competitive.
In addition to wedding planning, Anna has launched two new companies: Quin Sarao and La Despensa de Maricastaña.
QUIN SARAO (What a Party! in Catalan) is an online store that offers couples the opportunity to purchase or rent reusable decorative details, from candle holders and vintage sofas to neon party signs. This initiative reduces waste by avoiding the purchase of new products that are only used for a few hours. In collaboration with other local suppliers, couples can choose high-quality, sustainable items to enhance their celebrations while contributing to a more eco-friendly approach to wedding planning.
LA DESPENSA DE MARICASTAÑA, run in collaboration with Cristina Serra, offers locally sourced products in the form of spectacular grazing tables. The idea is to offer couples the opportunity to discover and share Menorca’s food culture by presenting it in a different and eye-catching way. Imagine if Michelangelo, instead of painting the Sistine Chapel, had created dining experiences for your guests. The aim is to leave guests open mouthed; Anna and Cristina love the faces of expectation when they see the striking tables for the first time. Such displays can be created for any event for any number of guests from 10 persons and up.
La Despensa de Maricastaña also participated in the Impulsa Startup programme with the Menorca Chamber of Commerce, an initiative designed to help local businesses grow and take their operations to the next level. Their expertise in creating tasting tables will be offered as a franchise-type business, allowing others to start their own ventures while maintaining a focus on sustainability. Anna’s dedication to her craft is evident in everything she does. She continues to learn and grow, attending webinars and investing in courses from industry leaders. Her passion for wedding planning and her love for Menorca shine through in every event she creates, making her a true visionary in the world of destination weddings.
